This charming wooden cabin offers a scenic spot for a solo trip or a romantic getaway, just half a mile from the legendary NC500 touring route. Ideal for two, with space for two more guests on a sofa bed, this is the perfect base for exploring Scotland’s rugged northern coast. From your doorstep, you can discover the Black Isle Peninsula, watch red kites soar overhead, or simply unwind in your peaceful surroundings. With a welcoming atmosphere and beautiful countryside views, this cabin provides a wonderful escape for those looking to immerse themselves in nature.

Step through the glass doors into a beautifully presented, open-plan living space, where a kitchen, diner, and lounge combine. This social heart of the home is soaked in natural light from the many windows, offering peaceful vistas. After a day of adventure, fire up the wood burner and get comfortable in the lounge area in front of the Smart TV. The kitchen has all you need to cook up a Scottish feast, with space to dine inside or out. When it's time to rest, a king-size bed awaits, served by a well-appointed shower room. Outside, the enclosed private patio is a true delight with night lighting and seating for morning coffees. You can also make use of a shared BBQ hut and a covered seating area. There is private driveway parking for one car.

When you’re ready to explore, the Black Isle Peninsula (15 miles) is home to ancient Pictish stones and medieval ruins. You may even see dolphins off the coast at Chanonry Point (17 miles). For whisky connoisseurs, several local distilleries are available, with the nearest being around 7 miles away. For a spectacular rail journey, you can hop on the Kyle Line from Dingwall (3.5 miles). The town of Beauly is 11 miles away.

The Lochussie Cabins were superb!! Set in such an idyllic location and only a short drive from all the amenities you could need. The cabins are lovely and modern with everything you would need, highly recommend!!

This is a really great lodge set in a great location within reach of so many great places to visit. The lodge was great and the owners made us feel so welcome. The best shower I have ever had in all the places around the world we have stayed in. Great place to just chill.

The cabins are a credit to the owners. They are extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped with quality items. We stayed in cabin number 2 which had a stunning view towards the Black Isle. There is also a barbecue hut and communal area on site. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The cabin was tastefully designed and well equipped. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept really well in the peaceful surroundings. Early morning sunshine on the deck saw us having breakfast with the birdsong or watching the occasional red kite fly over. Fantastic location and a superb little cabin. Great views and a really clean, modern design for the inside of the cabin. The balcony was great to take in the view with food. The host was also incredibly friendly and helpful. Will absolutely be returning to this place for another holiday soon!
