A peaceful location, convenient for St Merryn and local beaches. The Lodge was comfortable and well furnished. We visited The Venue once - very friendly staff and a crazy quiz night!

Lovely lodge, very well appointed and very close to St Merryn (3 min drive) and Padstow (10min drive). Site was very quiet. Very comfortable stay and roomy. There is no shop on site as advertised - just a small bar with a pool table and a kids arcade and hairdressers. Location to local points of interest was great. If you have lots of surfing gear Read moreor bikes etc., there isn't anywhere to store this other than on the decking which is not secure but you could chain them to the decking. Overall a lovely chilled stay. Hide

The lodge was of high quality but the oven needs some attention. The park itself is a bit run down and the outlook was pretty run down. When you speak to Holiday Cottages you never get to speak to the same person twice. St Merryn village is lovely, with a really good bakery, eateries and shop. Beaches within a couple of miles too. All in all a goRead moreod position. It was described as five steps down to an enclosed garden, but there was no enclosed garden. So disappointing as we had to take the dog out on a lead. There is a good enclosed dog field at the entrance of the site. Hide

A really lovely lodge, very well equipped and spacious with lots of personal touches added, good quality bed linen and welcome pack a nice touch. Parking right outside the door was excellent, but the front lawn was not enclosed as stated in the propertys listing. Most of the chairs need replacing.
