This cottage was exceptional. The location on the lake was superb. It felt private and tranquil. Inside we wanted for nothing, everything seems to have been thought of. There was a range of cleaning products, and other items to see you through the break. The walk to the bar/resstaurent is about 0.7 miles. Its a nice walk along the site road (which Read moreis very quiet), with fields on one side and the lake on the other. The bar was reasonable priced and pleasant to visit. The outside space was amazing. Totally secure for our dogs (pugs) and lovely to have their own secure area of grass. The decking is a great space and the jetty was also a great size. We caught perch, roach and a pike. Some were tiddlers but others were a good size. The wildlife is beautiful, with geese and ducks a plenty. Brian and Wynter were brilliant hosts. I needed a couple of things and they were 10/10 in responding. I recommend without any hesitation. Hide

My daughter and I with our 2 dogs. Had a really lovely holiday in Sunshine Lodge. We wanted a quiet, relaxing break. Reading books, walking the dogs and just sitting watching the lake. It was perfect. We loved the clean comfortable Lodge. Sat out on the decking watching all the wildlife. We would definitely like to stay in Sunshine Lodge again.

What an absolute pleasure to stay in Sunshine Lodge. We booked it for a relaxing break and it did not disappoint. Beautiful location, well equipped, very comfortable and the hot tub a bonus. My husband and son enjoyed the fishing off the jetty too. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

The lodge was really nice with a beautiful setting. There is everything you need and the beds are comfy. There is a nice area to walk your dog over the road. However It was hard to get to any facilities due to distance and speed bumps. The sofa was new but very cheap and uncomfortable. We had to sit on the chairs. We could not have a bath as Read moreit did not run hot water. The tv only worked on occasions all week. We did have to have an engineer come in on our Holliday time to try and sort the internet. We thought ok as we thought this would sort the television, but did not. As an elderly couple, the holiday was ruined and we left for home early. Hide
