Lovely private location overlooking pond. Nice site but 2nd time we have stayed there, both times pub closed, also around a 20 min walk. 10 minute walk to dog enclosure which Fudge loved. Oven and hob in need of a good clean, outside area needed tlc. On arrival had to clean glass on outside tables and wipe down chairs. Cobwebs everywhere and deckinRead moreg in need of a good jet wash. Couldn't get Netflix as advertised, Wi-Fi not great. Plus side, very comfortable seating inside, beds comfortable and good shower. Lovely lodge, very spacious and perfect base for exploring. No onsite facilities i.e. wee shop but not too far from main shops in car. Would recommend. Travelled with a 1 year old and a dog.

The Lodge was very comfortable, clean, cosy and spacious and we had a lovely relaxing stay. The welcome pack and information provided by the owners was very much appreciated. We wouldnt hesitate to stay at the Lodge again and would recommend to friends and family.

Fabulous location, easy to find. We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is spacious and clean with everything you might need. The dog park was just a 10min walk from cabin and our dogs enjoyed the holiday as much as we did. The welcome pack was generous and very useful after a long drive. The cottage is a lovely, relaxing place to enjoy the North East from. The park itself is clean and quiet and the location of the lodge makes it a little slice of heaven, nestled between trees and a wee pond. Inside, the lodge was immaculately clean, well furnished and very comfortable. Every room was spotless, well equipped and surprisingly roomyRead more for our family, which includes two teenagers! The wee balcony provides a quiet, calm sun trap to relax in - whether for reading alone or sharing a meal as the sunsets. Would highly recommend The Betsy. Great place to stay very well equipped and spotlessly clean. I would certainly recommend a stay here. We had the advantage of having great weather and the wrap around deck was a great place to relax

We really enjoyed our stay in the lodge. It was lovely, in a beautiful spot and definitely located in the best part of the park. It was also respectful and nice to see that just because we have a furry family, the standards aren't dropped in a pet friendly accommodation. We love Northumberland, it's just stunning wherever you look. It was clean andRead more furnished beautifully with good quality furnishings The sofa, chair & beds were all super comfy. The shower was fab. Being able to sit out on the verandah when the sun was out was a treat & enjoy the fresh air in the park. Easy to find , located in Swarland which was a beautiful little village, lovely pet friendly pub nearby called the Cook & Barker , had an AMAZING Sunday dinner and a lovely tea there. Unfortunately never got to sample the food in the coast & country , it ran out of food but we did have a lovely breakfast at Nelsons in the park. It was really cold when we first arrived, but the heating literally only took minutes to warm the lodge through. We were then lucky to have a few days of sun. Have made a couple of recommendations re duvet covers we felt were too thin for the time of year & a microwave upgrade, but what a fab place. We really enjoyed our stay in the lodge and would definitely go back, it's inspired us to investigate lodges ourselves. Hide
