Sue greeted us on arrival and showed us around. The lodge is lovely- well equipped and very comfortable. Spotlessly clean, great power shower, fluffy large towels and comfy bed. The immediate area is gated, enclosed and gravelled. Great to have the additional enclosed paddock for pooch. The pics on the website do not show the new fencing at the rearRead more where building work is starting on a house build. We did enjoy our holiday but left a day early due to the digging and construction work that recommenced after the poor weather. This might not bother some but it meant that the lodge was not as private and quiet as we hoped as the workmen were also driving past the front of the lodge. We did find this disruptive and had no prior indication it was occurring- we would have reconsidered our booking had we known upfront.
