This tasteful and charming single-storey property in a chalet park by the coast in the Gower is an excellent base for a beach-loving couple or small family. With a beach, golf course and woodland on your doorstep (all less than 0.5 miles), you’ll be spoilt for choice when deciding what to do with your day. To the east, find the village of Newton, where you can find a pub and shop. The neighbouring village of Mumbles, home to a range of delightful restaurants, pubs, a castle and family attractions, is a popular spot for tourists visiting the Gower Peninsula.

Step inside to be met with a laid-back, chic feel throughout the chalet. The U-shaped, farmhouse-style wooden surfaces add warmth. In addition to the low-hanging, contemporary lighting, there is also a breakfast bar which is perfect for relaxing with a coffee in the morning while making big plans for the day ahead. In the centre of the room, next to the large glass patio doors, there is a neat, round dining table and four chairs for enjoying special home-cooked meals with your guests. At the far end of the room, there's a comfortable sofa beside an electric fire and a TV. This cosy space is excellent for curling up and watching a film after a long day exploring the coast. There are two bedrooms in this chalet. The master bedroom is stylish with neutral tones and a double bed, and the second bedroom offers twin beds. Inside the bathroom, there's a shower and WC.

Walk through the patio doors in the lounge to reach the small paved area with outdoor furniture, which is ideal for relaxing with a glass of wine.

The chalet was as expected and had everything you needed for a stay. There were some issues with cleanliness in the kitchen and shower but nothing that couldn't be sorted by us. The sheets and towels were clean, bed comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The chalet park is about three hundred meters away from the beach which had two good cafeRead mores and good car parking. It is on a steep hill which would be challenging for any one with walking issues. We did have to drive around to find a shop / pub locally rather than walk further up the hill but there are plenty of places to visit around the area and Mumbles is great for restaurants and cafes etc. Plenty of car parks but almost always full by lunchtime so you would need to go early. There is Wi-Fi at the chalet but this is shared and the signal could be weak at peak times. Hide

Very clean and well equipped, and within a few hundred yards of the outstanding Carswell beach. Surrounded by trees and a nature walk just off site. Peaceful and quiet.
