If you are looking for somewhere with the WOW factor then look no more. Set in tranquility with the most amazing views and access to a beautiful lake. We saw a kingfisher, herons, dragonflies, frogs, ducks and geese. Linda showed the kids round the farm and we now have some treasured peacock feathers. The lodge itself was so comfortable, clean Read moreand a real home from home. The perfect location for us to explore the local area and for me to visit Barry, as a 19 year fan of Gavin and Stacey. We managed to get Just Eat deliveries when we didnt want to cook but the kitchen was well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept soundly each night. We loved being away from all the hustle and bustle but also only a short drive to shops, pubs, Newport, Barry and many lovely attractions. There arent many places Id revisit as there is so many places to explore but Id return many times over and Im missing the lake and geese. Hide

Such a wonderful break at Caban Cwm Hedd. Linda was so helpful and warm at every stage from booking through to departure, going out of her way to make sure our holiday was relaxing and comfortable for the whole family. We all loved our farm walks which Linda kindly led us on and the lake geese were so special to watch from the comfy armchairs or gaRead morerden seating. The Caban was clean, very comfortable and well equipped. Will definitely be back. Thank you so much Linda and family! Hide

Lovely lodge, beautiful location. So peaceful. Linda was very warm and welcoming and we were very grateful for her letting my daughter (11) visit the stables and horses. Highly recommended, good base location for visiting the local area including Cardiff.

Lovely location, and amazing view! Sitting on a warm evening overlooking the lake as the sun sets was so relaxing! Very comfortable, and in easy driving distance of both Newport and Cardiff. Our dog enjoyed the enclosed garden, and barking at the geese when they flew over!
