This countryside hideaway with fishing lake on-site sits in award-winning, 130-acre grounds (along with 40 other lodges, spaced out for your privacy) within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The detached property is surrounded by scenic countryside for you and your family to enjoy including Broad Haven’s huge sandy beach (2 miles by car, or shorter walk through woodland trail down to beach) where you can make memories on the sand. Take day trips to other nearby coastal destinations in this beautiful area, like picturesque Little Haven (2.5 miles), where you can try diving, sea fishing, swimming, snorkeling, kayaking and SUP or the beaches at Dale (9 miles). Kids will love days out to fun-filled Folly Farm (16 miles).

After all of that excitement, this property is the perfect cosy hideaway to kick back and unwind. Steps lead up to your lodge where the timber-framed living room has high ceilings, a door to the balcony and big windows showcasing the surrounding greenery that makes the atmosphere even more tranquil. Settle on the sofas as a family and enjoy all the home comforts: the bookshelf, TV with DVD and CD player and the cosy electric fire. Next to the windows, there’s a dining table with bench seating for your group dinners, home-cooked in the kitchen. There are three small bedrooms - a double, a twin and one with bunk beds which is ideal for families - and a bathroom boasting a bath with a shower over it that you’ll appreciate after days spent in the great outdoors. Find laundry facilities on the site.

A balcony runs the entire front of the lodge and features a small table and chairs so you can enjoy drinks and snacks in the fresh, country air as you take in the view. You’re welcome to use facilities, including a play area, on the site whether that’s wandering the landscaped grounds or coarse fishing in the stocked reservoir. Children should always be supervised in the grounds due to the water.
