Very happy with the shepherd's hut. It was spotless on arrival and woodburning stove lit to heat the hot tub which meant we could use it straight away. Quiet and peaceful location with everything needed to enjoy a relaxing break. Not far from Annan for supplies.

Fantastic hut and a great location. Couldnt recommend highly enough for a relaxing break. Everything you need is catered for, peaceful surroundings and you dont need to travel far for amenities or things to do.

Lovely, peaceful location with everything needed inside the hut. Short drive to both Annan and Gretna for some nice walks and shops. Loved the hot tub and surrounding fields. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable getaway.

Our stay was everything we had hoped it would be. I felt safe being so close to Mr & Mrs Martindale as the hut is on their farm land, however still having our privacy and being out of sight of their home when in the hot tub etc. The cottage manual inside the hut full of useful information was very helpful. The hut provides everything you need withiRead moren a cosy space and looks beautiful. The surrounding fields of cows and sheep were picturesque and calming. The owners were very helpful when needed. My partner and I had a fantastic stay! The hut was spotless, really cosy and modern. It had great facilities to cater for a night in. The hot tub was lovely on an evening, so peaceful and private. The guestbook was great to help us plan our weekend walks - great recommendations! We particularly enjoyed Grey Mares Tail in Moffat. Communication was gRead morereat also. Beautiful hut, perfect size for a romantic trip for 2 with plenty of storage space to keep everything tidy. The kitchen and bathroom spaces utilised the space well and the cabin felt comfortable and secure. The hot tub heated well with practise and was a fantastic addition to the trip. Had the best overnight stay. From the lovely welcome pack to the glorious views and peacefull setting. Fresh eggs and milk straight from farm were a great touch. Both really enjoyed our time there. Can't fault anything really. Will definitely be going back.

What can I say other than simply perfect. Beautiful, outstandingly clean, easiest check in and check out process ever. Dont think about booking it just book it. You will not be disappointed, we got married in Gretna just the two of us and this little hut made the whole thing that bit more special.
