Had an absolutely lovely stay, was a little slice of paradise in the Welsh countryside. Room was clean, warm without needing the heating on, and the hot tub was spectacular. The property is also in a amazing location for walkers, with the local town a 40 minute walk though the hills, and the local Forrest and dam for some longer walks. This was a superb find. The Shepherds Hut was delightfully set in amazing picturesque countryside. The river Severn passing by gracefully beneath you and the Hot Tub made it even more special. Totally secluded with a fire pit, BBQ and a lovely patio area. Would definitely recommend.

What an amazing trip! I booked Heaven on Severn for my girlfriends birthday and it was everything we hoped it would be and more! Gorgeous cozy cabin, lovely quaint kitchen and a fire pit + a barbecue for grilling on. Listening to the Severn stream running at the bottom garden as you fall asleep is just surreal. The name says it all its definitely Heaven on Severn. We wanted peace and quiet and relaxation and this has it all whilst still being close enough to pop into the town and have a pint or dinner if you want to. Liz was the most amazing host. The cottage is in a great location. It is in a quiet place by the river and is very beautiful. It has got nice little garden with hot tub and barbecue place.

Me, my boyfriend and dog stayed here for 3 nights. We had a wonderful time. Liz and Nick were so friendly and accommodating. The hut itself, just wow - what a little gem, cosy and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, so relaxing having the sound of the river right next to us. OMG what an amazing place. Went for one night for birthday treat and wished we could stay longer. The shepherd hut is so well equipment and spacious and the bed was so comfortable, best night sleep in a long time. Spent time in the hot tub and sat round the firepit drinking champagne. Absolutely loved this shepherd's hut - perfect for a simple, quiet getaway/retreat in lovely surroundings and very well insulated so barely needed wood stove and electric heater in late September. Kind touches (milk, eggs, homemade biscuits, OS map) and thoughtfulness from owners - felt entirely safe staying on my own and it is a birdwatcher's paraRead moredise! Wonderful weekend getaway, fantastic hosts. The Shepard's Hut was luxury glamping with ensuite, WiFi and electricity. The location was absolutely stunning, just remote enough, right beside the river with beautiful views across fields and rolling hills. Perfect for pure relaxation.

We had a wonderful stay at the shepherd's hut, the location was absolutely stunning. Bed was very comfortable and although the hut is small, we had everything we needed. The lovely hosts welcomed us with a homemade lemon drizzle cake which was delicious. Would highly recommend!

This is the place of dreams! The location is beautiful. The area around is beautiful. The shepherd's hut is beautiful. The shower is great, the bed is comfy, and the composting toilet is an experience! We absolutely loved our stay.

Wonderful relaxing stay in well thought out accommodation with everything you need- plenty of delightful places to eat in Llanidloes and good base for lots of spectacular walks.
